Eligibility

Entry Requirements

For Irish/EU citizens, a Leaving Certificate of: 2 H5 and 4 O6/H7 grades, to include a language (English, Irish or another language) and maths or equivalent.


English Language requirements

Griffith College is accepting the online Duolingo English Test (DET) as valid proof of English proficiency.


How to Apply

Irish/EU Applicants under 23 years of age:

Irish/EU applicants who are under 23 years of age on January 1st of the year they wish to enter must apply through the CAO.


Irish/EU Applicants over 23 years of age (Mature students):

If you are 23 years of age on or before the 1st January of the year you want to enter, you may apply as a mature student. Mature and part-time applicants must apply directly.


International Students:

To apply to Griffith College as an international student, you'll need to complete an online application form, provide proof of ID, academic transcripts, and demonstrate English language proficiency if applicable.


Fees

Tuition Fees

  • Irish/EU citizens, living in Ireland: EUR 6,650.00 for Year 1.
  • Irish/EU citizens, living abroad: EUR 7,000.
  • International: EUR 12,000.

Academic Administration Fee

An Academic Administration Fee of EUR 250 is payable each September at the start of term.


Student Services and Administration Fee

A Student Services and Administration Fee of EUR 200 is payable each academic year in addition to the fees quoted above.


Learner Protection Charge

All QQI accredited programmes of education and training of 3 months or longer duration are covered by arrangements under section 65 (4) of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012.


QQI Award Fee

Please note that a QQI Award Fee applies in the final year of all QQI courses. For the BA (Hons) in Communications and Media Production, this fee is EUR 200.00.
