Course Details
Upon successful completion of the taught modules, participants integrate their postgraduate business education with managerial competencies through a practice-based dissertation project with a credit volume of 30 ECTS.
Core Modules
Global Marketing
Learners gain an appreciation of the very real marketing challenges facing global firms today and develop the technical and professional competencies to address such issues.
Digital Transformation
The module provides learners with a deep understanding of the conceptual foundations, strategic implications, and practical applications of digital transformation in the context of modern business management.
Corporate Governance and Sustainable Business Management
Learners gain insight into what is required to reach the highest standards of corporate governance and Sustainable Business Management looks at the current challenges and opportunities facing companies in their responsibilities to their many stakeholders and the evolving societal expectation for businesses.
International Human Resource Strategies
This module concerns the international nature and scope of contemporary human resource management and the strategic application of human resources activities and international techniques.
Financial Management
This module develops a practical understanding of the role and goals of financial management, financial accounting and management accounting and be able to apply them to business situations
Leadership in Organisations
Learners learn how to effectively lead individuals, teams and organisations, by developing a deep understanding of the role and impact of leaders in responding to business, stakeholder, ethical and environmental issues in contemporary business.
Entrepreneurial Innovation
This module provides learners with an understanding of the nature of entrepreneurship and innovation and introduces learners to the roles of the entrepreneur and innovation manager
International Strategy
This module introduces and develops the concepts, perspectives and tools associated with the discipline of strategy formulation and development.
Business Research Methods
Learners will gain knowledge and insight into the nature, purpose, and significance of business, commercial, and academic research. The module will guide learners on how to conduct a critical literature review using the best practices to develop a critical approach.
Elective Modules
Sustainability and Marketing Ethics
This module provides insight into the role of a marketing practitioner working in sustainability and critically evaluate the changing relationship of sustainability to marketing.
Brand Analytics
The module builds learners’ practical skills in applying fundamental statistical methods and data analysis techniques specific to brand analytics in real-world global brand performance scenarios.
Business Economics
The module equips learners, as they enter an ever-changing business world, with the tools to analyse and evaluate issues through the lens of an economist.
Sustainable Finance
This module looks at this changing environment and considers the impact on capital markets, investment, and trading, including products, pricing, risk, and return.
Dissertation
Dissertation (Traditional)
Learners enhance their knowledge, research and business communication skills and contribute significantly to their chosen field through a supervised research project.
Dissertation by Practice Industry Project
Learners enhance their knowledge, research, and business communication skills and contribute significantly to their chosen field through a supervised project, on behalf of, and in conjunction with, industry.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
- Primary honours degree in a business-related discipline or a postgraduate-related qualification and/or experiential learning.
- Three years of managerial experience.
- Non-business graduates with substantial work experience may apply but will be subject to interview.
- If English is not your native language you must show that your English level is of a suitable standard, i.e a minimum of 6.5 IELTS Score or equivalent.

For purposes of fee calculation, residence is counted from the time of the application.

General Fee Information
- An Academic Administration Fee of EUR 250 is payable each September at the start of term. For students starting in the January/February term, EUR 125 is payable in February, and then EUR 250 will be payable each September from then onwards.
- A 2% Learner Protection Charge is applicable each academic year in addition to the fees quoted. The fees above relate to Year 1 fees only.

2% Learner Protection Charge
All QQI accredited programmes of education and training of 3 months or longer duration are covered by arrangements under section 65 (4) of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012 whereby, in the event of the provider ceasing to provide the programme for any reason, enrolled learners may transfer to a similar programme at another provider, or, in the event that this is not practicable, the fees most recently paid will be refunded.

Progression
Academic Progression
On completion of the Level 9 MBA in International Business, students may progress onto a range of Level 10 Doctoral programmes on the National Qualifications Framework. The Postgraduate QQI validation means that your qualification is recognised not only in Ireland and Europe but throughout the world.
