Course Details
Upon successful completion of the taught modules, MSc learners complete a dissertation with a credit volume of 30 ECTS.

Learners learn how to effectively lead individuals, teams, and organisations, by developing a deep understanding of the role and impact of leaders in responding to business, stakeholder, ethical, and environmental issues in contemporary business.
Business Research Methods
Learners will gain knowledge and insight into the nature, purpose, and significance of business, commercial, and academic research. The module will guide learners on how to conduct a critical literature review using the best practices to develop a critical approach

Sustainability and Marketing Ethics
This module provides insight into the role of a marketing practitioner working in sustainability and critically evaluates the changing relationship of sustainability to marketing.
Brand Analytics
The module builds learners’ practical skills in applying fundamental statistical methods and data analysis techniques specific to brand analytics in real-world global brand performance scenarios.
Business Economics
The module equips learners, as they enter an ever-changing business world, with the tools to analyse and evaluate issues through the lens of an economist.
Sustainable Finance
This module looks at this changing environment and considers the impact on capital markets, investment, and trading, including products, pricing, risk, and return.
Dissertation
Dissertation (Traditional)
Learners enhance their knowledge, research and business communication skills and contribute significantly to their chosen field through a supervised research project.
Dissertation by Practice Industry Project
Learners enhance their knowledge, research and business communication skills and contribute significantly to their chosen field through a supervised project, on behalf of, and in conjunction with, industry.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
Applicants must normally hold an approved honours degree in the field of business or management or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary/professional institution. Students with relevant work experience may be eligible, for more information see the APEL section below.
English Language Proficiency
All applicants for whom English is not their native language must provide proof of English language proficiency to a standard of at least 6.5 in IELTS, 575 TOEFL or equivalent.
Griffith College is now accepting the online Duolingo English Test (DET) as valid proof of English proficiency. Please see here (PDF file) for further details.
Accreditation of Prior Learning and Prior Experience (APL/APEL)
The Graduate Business School welcomes applications from those with prior academic and/or professional learning experience which may be relevant to the MSc in International Business Management programme. Applicants who wish for their prior academic and/ or professional learning experience to be considered are requested to indicate this at the time of application and we will be happy to examine all of the relevant documentation accordingly.

General Fee Information
An Academic Administration Fee of EUR 250 is payable each September at the start of term. For students starting in the January/February term, EUR 125 is payable in February, and then EUR 250 will be payable each September from then onwards.
A 2% Learner Protection Charge is applicable each academic year in addition to the fees quoted. The fees above relate to Year 1 fees only.

- Managerial Finance: Provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the role and goals of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial management. Equips students with the analytical tools to assess business activities and decisions in an entrepreneurial context.
- International Strategy: Introduces and develops the concepts, perspectives, and tools associated with the discipline of strategy formulation and development in the complexities of undertaking business in different industrial and market contexts, countries, and cultures. Aims to provide students with a core body of knowledge of strategy and instill an appreciation of the complexities and behavioral factors that shape business decisions.
- Research Methods: Introduces students to the purpose and role of research in business and the different qualitative and quantitative traditions and approaches practised in research. Develops research abilities to improve business decision making through robust research and data collection. Prepares students for the MSc dissertation by developing and producing a solid, well-informed research proposal that provides them with a sound basis for carrying out independent research under supervision.
- Strategic Human Resource Management: Examines the nature and scope of human resource management and the strategic application of human resources activities and techniques. Provides knowledge and understanding of external environments, internal capabilities, resources, and processes that underpin strategic human resource management.
- Global Marketing: Provides students with a solid foundation of the theories, frameworks, and models of international marketing combined with a strong sense of global awareness and cultural sensitivity. Enables them to discriminate between markets and select those presenting the greatest opportunities. Equips them with the knowledge to develop appropriate marketing plans and determine whether a global, local, or global approach to marketing is best.
- Leadership and Management Development: Examines the role played by leadership and management in organizations (commercial, public, and voluntary) and in determining organizational culture. Encourages students to critically examine leadership and management models, gain knowledge and understanding of new models, and consider how they might modify their own current or future leadership and management behaviors. - Digital Business: Offers an understanding of digital skills within the workplace of a contemporary business environment. Centred on digital marketing and strategy, combined with trends shaping modern Ebusiness, it explores how digital marketing fits in with the overall business strategy at a practical level.
- Regional Analysis: Analyzes Asian markets from the perspective of investing firms, including assessment of risks, benefits, and appropriate entry strategies for the market. Explores the role of national and regional environments in Asian business, investigating how macro-characteristics such as factor endowments, institutions, politics, and culture affect country- and firm-level economic outcomes in Asia.
- Strategic Procurement and Supply Management: Develops students' understanding of leading edge thinking in the area of strategic procurement and guides students on procurement strategies that bring together methods and tools used by global purchasers across different industries. Enables students to adapt the strategic procurement perspective and add increased value to organizations in which they operate.
- Global Marketing Methods and Mindsets: Builds learners’ understanding of the four dominant Marketing methods and mind-sets currently in evidence among marketing professionals. Develops an understanding of the methodologies used during the eras of Product, Consumer, Brand and Concept Marketing, the different mind-sets that are brought to the marketing challenge, how those mind-sets translate into practical methodology, and the strengths and weaknesses of each approach.
