Overview
This QQI-accredited certificate is a one-year part-time programme providing key knowledge, skills and competencies in the area of Industrial Manufacturing and Maintenance-related subjects.
Course Details
This course comprises four modules:
- Industrial Electrical Safety and Systems
- Fundamentals of GMP and Quality Regulations
- HVACR Principles
- Workplace Communication
How to Apply
This Certificate in Industrial Manufacturing and Maintenance Skills programme is aimed at technicians and operators (in highly-regulated industries including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical, life sciences, medtech, and food and drink manufacturing industries), who are seeking employment, or are in employment and are looking to advance and/or improve performance within their current role.
Entry Requirements
- English Language: CEF B2+ or equivalent
- Applicants under 23 years of age: Minimum of grade O6 / H7 in the Leaving Certificate, or equivalent, in 5 subjects
- Applicants above 23 years of age (Mature students): Work experience and/or life experience by demonstrating that they have reached the standards of knowledge, skills and competence
Fees
- Irish/EU Citizens living in Ireland: EUR3,900 (Part-Time)
- Academic Administration Fee: EUR250.00
- 2% Learner Protection Charge
Progression
On completion of this course, students may choose to progress onto Griffith College's Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
