Outline:
- Year One:
- Focus on understanding the fundamentals of business management, how decisions are made, how they and affect other business areas.
- Develop your employability, enterprise awareness and build a foundation of business knowledge for the rest of your degree through key subject areas such as HRM, employee development/relations, management, operations, and leadership.
- Year Two:
- Further develop your knowledge in human resource management and start to build your own specialism through optional modules.
- Consider whether to go on a one-year placement or study exchange at the end of year two; or continue straight to year three.
- Year Three:
- Focus on your research dissertation which acts as the culmination of your learning throughout your degree.
- Continue to study more advanced aspects of business and human resource management that fit in with your interests.
- Opportunity to complete a 20-week part-time work placement.
