Program Overview

The BA (Hons) Childhood Studies with Therapeutic Play with Integrated Foundation Year program prepares students to work therapeutically with children and young people in various settings. It emphasizes utilizing therapeutic play approaches, explores key areas such as childhood development, special educational needs, and working with families. Students gain practical experience through work-based placements and develop critical thinking and research skills through an independent project.
