Program Overview
MA Fundraising
The MA Fundraising course is the only dedicated fundraising master's in the UK, designed for professionals and senior leaders with a fundraising responsibility. This distance-learning course provides a solid foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of fundraising, complemented by real-world case studies and practitioner insight.
Overview
The course develops knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of fundraising, including branding, capital campaigns, case for support, donor motivation, and governance and diversity. Students learn from experienced fundraisers and academics, with optional intensive face-to-face workshops.
Course Structure
- The course is available full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years).
- It is delivered online, with regular live online workshops and access to one-to-one tutorials.
- Students can join an intensive week of discussion, debate, and learning on campus each summer.

- Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert): 60 credits
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip): 120 credits
- Master's: 180 credits, including a 60-credit dissertation

Entry Requirements
