The following are not required for entry, but you may find these useful further preparation for this degree:

- King’s also strongly encourages you to extend your mathematical interests by studying for the Advanced Extension Award (AEA) or Sixth Term Examination paper (STEP).

TEDI-London
Candidates interested in Design Engineering with 112-120 UCAS points (BBC-BBB at A-Level) or equivalent may also wish to consider our partner institution, TEDI-London.
TEDI-London offers BEng/MEng Global Design Engineering and does not have subject-specific entry requirements. For candidates who have not taken a Maths A Level, TEDI-London offers a Maths Refresher as part of the application process. As well as accepting applications via UCAS, it is also possible to apply to TEDI-London directly via their website.

Fees & Funding
Tuition Fees
Full Time Tuition Fees UK:
The UK tuition fee for the academic year is currently £9,535 per year. This is based on the UK Government's cap.
Full Time Tuition Fees International
The International tuition fee for the academic year is £35,800 per year.
Please note that the International tuition fee is subject to annual increases in subsequent years of study, in line with King's terms and conditions.
All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2000 against their first year's tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King's.

For some forms of coursework, you may require access to software that can only be installed on a Windows device. There is a laptop loan scheme within the department that can be used if you do not have access to a Windows laptop.
