This intensive executive training program in European Public Policy and Management aims to:

• Provide participants with a deep understanding of policy and management processes in three European capital cities: Rome, Berlin, and London.
• Build a network among participants heading for future leadership positions.
• Berlin module: Examines German governance and policy-making, offering insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the system and how it responds to key policy challenges.
It allows participants to reflect on how lessons from Germany can be transferred to other government systems.
• Rome module: Provides participants with insights into the structures and processes of governance and policy-making in Italy.
Participants will learn about institutional structures, political processes, and issues driving the political system, as well as recent progress made in the country.

The program is designed for:

• National civil servants and government officials aspiring to DG level positions.
• Civil servants from European institutions and international organizations.
• Senior diplomats and civil servants from EU member states and other countries.
• Executives from private organizations, business associations, and NGOs.

Outline:

Participants will learn about institutional structures, political processes, current trends, and recent progress made in the country. It allows participants to reflect on how lessons from Germany can be transferred to other government systems.

• Schedule: The Berlin module will take place in June 2023.
