- This course is run in two cohorts, Thursday or Friday. The first date is the same for both cohorts. You will be asked to choose Thursday or Friday when you are offered a place on the module.
- This course is only available as a free-standing course in January (term 2) and April (term 3). The September (term 1) intake is only for students enrolled on a Master's programme.
- Applicants must meet specific requirements, including a 2:1 undergraduate degree, professional registration, and experience in an advanced practitioner role.
- All applicants must complete a signed copy of the Practice Assessor form.

Entry Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A minimum 2:1 undergraduate Bachelor’s (honours) degree.
- Current, professional registration as a healthcare practitioner.
- 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Evidence of working in an advanced practitioner role/at an advanced level (or evidence of training towards an advanced practitioner role or equivalent), and having exposure to advanced physical assessment and clinical decision-making.
Additional Considerations:
- Applications with a lower degree classification or professional registration based on a nursing diploma may be considered if they can demonstrate significant relevant work experience or offer a related graduate qualification (such as a Masters or PGDip).
- All applicants must also complete and sign the Practice Assessor form, which must be attached with your application in the Application portal.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
English Language Requirements:
The University requires all applicants whose first language is not English to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. This can be done by providing evidence of:
- A successful completion of an English language test, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic.
- A degree from a recognized English-medium university.
Specific Requirements:
- IELTS: 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each component.
- TOEFL: 94 overall with a minimum of 20 in listening and writing, 22 in reading, and 26 in speaking.
