Entry Requirements:
For both EU home students and international overseas students outside the EU:
- Applicants must be a registered midwife in the UK
- Applicants who are midwifery students in their final year, who are due to qualify in the academic year 2023/2024, are also able to apply
- Applicants must secure the support from their employer/NHS Trust before applying for this course. Specifically, securing mentorship for undertaking NIPE examinations is critical. Accepted qualifications are:
- IELTS: minimum of 7.0 overall, with nothing less than 6.5 in each component
- TOEFL iBT: minimum of 100 overall with a minimum of 24 in each component
- PTE: minimum of 70 overall with no less than 62 in each component.
- CAE: minimum of 185 overall with no less than 176 in each component
- CPE: minimum of 185 overall with no less than 176 in each component
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- The required English language proficiency score for this program is:
- IELTS: minimum of 7.0 overall, with nothing less than 6.5 in each component.
