Program Overview

The Master of Arts (MA) by Research is a one-year (full-time) or two-year (part-time) research degree with no formal taught component. Students choose a specific research project to work on, developing their skills through training and supervised study. They produce a short thesis of around 25,000 words and may also submit a practice portfolio with written components.
