Program Overview

The Secondary Science with Physics PGCE program at the University of Huddersfield is a one-year postgraduate program designed for aspiring Physics teachers in secondary schools. It provides a comprehensive understanding of Physics pedagogy, generic science, and Key Stage 3 subject knowledge, along with the practical skills needed for effective classroom teaching. Graduates earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are prepared to start their first teaching post.
