Program Overview

The University of Huddersfield's four-year Social Work MSci program prepares students for professional careers in social work within various settings. The curriculum emphasizes anti-discriminatory practice, develops students' skills in working with diverse populations, and explores social work methods and approaches. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration with Social Work England, qualifying them to practice as social workers. The program is accredited by the Yorkshire Urban and Rural Teaching Partnership and incorporates experiential learning through two supervised practice placements.
