What you'll study

On this programme, you will study key computer science concepts such as programming and software engineering, as well as the design of microprocessors, circuits and distributed computer systems.

You'll have the opportunity to specialise in software or hardware in your third year, with a wide range of optional modules available (including security engineering, UX design and big data processing). Advice will be provided on the best optional modules to choose for your career goals.

Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer, and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
