The Physician Associate Studies MSc is a full-time, 24-month program divided into two 12-month stages:

A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level All applicants will be required to take the CASPER situational judgement test as part of the application process. Results from the CASPER exam will factor in the admissions selection process, and applicants are invited to take the CASPER exam on 15 August 2024 at 5pm (BST). It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure they meet minimum academic entry requirements before booking on to the CASPER test.

The minimum English language proficiency requirement for this program is:

  • IELTS: 7.0 overall, with no individual band score less than 6.5
  • TOEFL: 100 overall, with a minimum of 24 in writing and 20 in each of the other three sections
  • PTE Academic: 70 overall, with no individual score below 61
  • Are a national of a country where English is the official language
  • Have completed a degree in English at a UK university or an equivalent institution
  • Have been studying in English for a minimum of two years in a country where English is an official language
  • Applications will be scored as part of the selection process, for instance, applicants with higher than the minimum 2.1 requirement in their first degree or those with higher level degrees will have an advantage. In addition to this, the whole application will be considered, including the personal statement and any relevant work experience, in order to determine which applicants receive an offer.
