Program Overview

If you've recently been appointed to a team leadership role, or you have the potential to lead a team, this programme will equip you with valuable skills you can use in any business or organisation.

This qualification is studied online and looks at various leadership styles and the principles for effective team performance. You'll learn how to communicate effectively with stakeholders, work co-operatively within a team, respond positively to diversity, develop objectives for a team and contribute to achieving those objectives.

You'll also learn about effective problem solving and decision making for business purposes, and complying with internal policies, legislation and other external requirements of business entities.

With this qualification you'll possess the skills and knowledge to fulfil team leadership roles in any kind of business, and be able to contribute to the effective performance of your team.

You can add to your business skills and expertise with the New Zealand Certificate in Business (First Line Management) Level 4 or the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Administration and Technology) Level 4.
