Program Overview

Cerritos College offers a Certificate of Achievement or an Associate of Arts in Medical Assisting. The student must achieve a grade of C or better in all required medical assisting courses to qualify for the Certificate of Achievement and/or Associate of Arts Degree in Medical Assisting. Twelve units of the Medical Assistant program must have been taken within the last five (5) years. Upon successful completion of program requirements, the student is eligible for a Cerritos College Medical Assistant pin.
