You will combine academic study and theoretical knowledge with excellent practical clinical experience to ensure the best care for women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.

You will build on your existing professional skills, gaining the specialist knowledge and experience to become a registered midwife.

On successful completion of this diploma, you will gain registered midwife status with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, an internationally recognised professional qualification allowing you to practice in the UK and overseas.
