Program Overview

Do you enjoy working on or being around cars? Do you like working with your hands? This one-year program will kickstart your career as an automotive service technician. With a focus on hands-on training, Conestoga graduates are well-positioned to enter and be successful working in this trade. Throughout the program, you will develop a strong foundation of technical skills needed for the automotive field. You will practice safe working procedures in the use of tools, machinery, and equipment in 20,000 square feet of combined shop space. To round out your training, you will be introduced to fundamental business concepts. As a graduate, you will have an opportunity to receive exemption from Level 1 of the Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship in-school training.
