Program Overview

Students in this programme will learn to identify, demonstrate, and apply appropriate knowledge and skills of all outdoor environments and experiences. This programme will teach safe, effective leadership practices though outdoor rock climbing, caving, bush tramping, canoeing and kayaking, as well as alpine experience field trips.

Learning takes place in class and on field trips. Students will typically spend every second week on field trips, where they can put their learning into practice.

Students will need to equip themselves with a basic outdoor kit, including: sleeping bag, pack, boots, raincoat, and head torch.
