About Program

Program Overview

Learn the knowledge and develop the skills needed to gain a rewarding job in construction management or quantity surveying on residential and commercial builds.

Gain a qualification that provides employers and consumers with the confidence that construction and building projects are being effectively planned, organised and supported with sound financial management and that meet the requirements of New Zealand Build Act, Codes of Practice and New Zealand and Australian standards.

This qualification is ideal for school leavers through to those in the industry looking to upskill and gain a recognised qualification to grow their career.

Benefit from small class sizes and learn from industry-experienced tutors who have strong relationships with the local construction industry and professional bodies. For those who have been out of a classroom for some time, numeracy, literacy and technology support is available.

Flexible delivery allows you to combine work and study in this two-year programme and leads to further tertiary study at degree level in both construction management and quantity surveying or go straight into employment.

There is a labour shortage in the construction industry and multiple large construction projects in the region. Our graduates are in demand.
