Analyzing data in today's information-driven world requires skills instatistics, technology, communication and ethical decision-making. As a student in the Business Analytics and Information Systems major, you'll learn how to help businesses make better analytical and operational decisions through data analysis and statistical modeling. You'll also conduct original research during your senior capstone course, giving you the opportunity to apply what you've learned about data and/or supply chain analyses to a topic of your choice.

Xavier's business analytics and information systems major curriculum includes intentional reflection on ethics and privacy in the use of data science skills and includes multiple opportunities for real-world learning through internships, mentorships and community-engaged learning.

Xavier's undergraduate Business Analytics and Information Systems major was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the #23 undergraduate business analytics major in the nation for 2023.

98 percent of our students, including those in the Business Analytics and Information Systems major, are working, volunteering or in graduate school within six months of graduation (Class of 2021).
