Program Overview

Staff in this department work closely with Boeing, Airbus UK, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and others. As part of the course, you will work on a research project led by an academic. And you’ll take part in the faculty’s Global Engineering Challenge, a team exercise designed to make you a better engineer.You choose whether to focus on avionics or aeromechanics. Throughout the course, there’s an emphasis on careers. We will help you figure out what you want to do and how to achieve it. Graduates work in aerospace design, aviation, manufacturing, energy and other specialisms, for employers such as Airbus, BP, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Rolls-Royce and the Ministry of Defence.
