Studying Biochemistry, you’ll learn about the cells, genes and chemical processes of living organisms.
You’ll learn from some of the world’s leading biochemists with a wide range of expertise – from the repair of DNA to the molecular basis of Alzheimer’s disease. You’ll also benefit from their strong links with the Sussex Drug Discovery Centre and Genome Damage and Stability Centre.
You’ll work in high-quality laboratories and complete your own research project. In your integrated Masters year, you’ll join one of our research groups. This will help you gain advanced real-world research skills.
As a graduate, you’ll have the confidence and experience for a career in scientific research, as well as a variety of careers outside science.
