Applied Business Technology training prepares you to pursue a specialization as a legal administrative assistant, medical or dental office assistant, records management professional, and more.
ABT graduates can also use the skills gained from the program to complete a diploma or a bachelor’s degree. At UFV, you can use the credits earned through your Applied Business Technology certificate towards earning diploma of General Studies or a Bachelor of Integrated Studies.
The ABT program will be delivered in an online/face-to-face mix using both synchronous and asynchronous formats. Students should expect to work on coursework the equivalent of Monday to Friday, 9 am–2:30 pm; synchronous classes will be held daily 10 am–noon and 1–2 pm, Monday–Friday. For in-person classes, the ABT program runs out of UFV’s Clearbrook Centre in Abbotsford.
