Program Overview

The objective of BSc Business Economics is to provide you with a theoretical and practical understanding of the economic decisions faced by business and its managers, and the ability to analyse the economic and social environment in which these decisions are taken. The programme combines the development of key skills in economics, accounting and management with the application of these skills to the solution of many interacting problems that face business managers. It is a very flexible degree programme that will appeal particularly to anyone aiming for a career in business. The first-year modules provide a solid background in economics and management, while year two and three are more flexible to allow you to tailor your studies to your own interests. This programme is recommended if you wish to study economics but do not want a high mathematical content in your degree programme.
