BA (Hons) Drama and Theatre Practice with Foundation

Program Overview

The BA (Hons) Drama and Theatre Practice with Foundation is a four-year programme of study that includes a foundation year which offers access to those wishing to study at university and who do not have the standard entry profile for Year 1 BA study. The programme also offers entry to degree study for those who may be returning to study, those who may have relevant professional/workplace/voluntary experience but do not have the required academic entry profile for level 4 entry and for those whose qualifications may be outside the subject area.The foundation year will provide students with an appropriate access route which will foreground necessary disciplinary skills and subject knowledge required to study a BA in Drama and Theatre Practice. Through our unique partnership with Theatre Royal, Plymouth we offer high quality teaching, a stimulating learning environment, state of the art teaching spaces and a programme in which you will feel well supported and ready for the challenges of degree study.
