Classical Civilisation and English Literature covers a wide variety of modules in past cultures including Greek and Roman worlds and their impact on English Literature. Studying this three-year BA joint honours degree opens up a range of exciting career possibilities by helping you to develop transferable skills, which are highly valued by employers.
The cultures of Greece and Rome have hugely impacted western civilisation andits literature. Explore Greek and Roman mythology; history and society; gothic and genre fiction; gender and culture; renaissance literature; national and global literatures and creative and professional writing.
You will have the chance to explore and examine civilisations that may appear distant but remain influential in the 21st century.
