About the course
This course is ideal for graduates of Computer Science or Networking degrees. With the vast proliferation of malware and targeted cyber-attacks the necessity for proper Information security and management in place becomes more prominent than ever.
It covers a wide range of topics including programming, databases, security, Project Management and computer networking. This course is uniquely designed to blend a wide spectrum of state-of-the-art domains around Information and network security, and digital forensics and will properly equip you for a career in the area.
The expansion of mobile technologies, IoT, Cloud deployments and the migration of operational and strategic security into a unified scheme with automation and digital forensics in mind make the domains in this course a ready a complete pool of knowledge-based and skillset development for potential candidates in both management and technical aspects of security.
During the course students will learn how to understand network security and attack theory, scripting, penetration testing, cryptographic protocols and how to perform forensic data analysis using the latest commercial tools available such as Encase Tool Kit and open source toolkits.
