About the course
Develop a variety of teaching approaches to become an effective and confident teacher of children in Primary Education.
Partnerships with local schools give you opportunities to put theory into practice on placements, supported by experienced teachers and academic staff as you develop the knowledge and skills to meet the national requirements for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

How will I be assessed?
Your course consists of four units. These are: The Professional Teacher. The Subject Specialist(Secondary Music). The Reflective Teacher. The Research Informed Teacher.
This PGCE requires you to pass all four units in order to be recommended for e webfolio is the medium through which you will manage the range of evidence accumulated during the course. You will be supported to develop a structured system which enables you to: organise your work to meet the requirements of the course; share your work with your tutor; receive regular feedback intended to guide you to improve; adapt your work in response to the feedback; maintain effective cross-referencing to related documents; and access course information with ease. The majority of your assessment work will be managed and presented by giving tutor access to your webfolio.
