About Program

Program Overview

Do you love acting and creating work in performance studios? Are you passionate about representing new voices or stories? Are you interested in how theatre can be applied to real world challenges?

Our BA Theatre and Performance degree will help you become a well-rounded, independent, and innovative theatre practitioner.

You will:

The programme is grounded in the North East theatre industry. Our students and graduates work with venues like Live Theatre, Northern Stage, the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, as well as schools, care homes and local authorities. In fact, one of our graduates founded Newcastle’s highly successful Alphabetti Theatre, championing original work from emerging artists.

We educate future leaders. Be part of our community.
