Program Overview

The Pharmacy Technician program at Canadian Imperial College is a one-year (for Canadian students) or two-year (for international students) diploma program that provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as pharmacy technicians in various healthcare settings. The program includes a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory sessions, and practical experience through practicums in community and hospital pharmacies. Graduates are prepared for the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Qualifying Exam and registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
