Overview

The BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance with Foundation Year is a four-year course designed to provide students with the foundational skills and knowledge to complete a full Honours degree. This course offers students the opportunity to study at degree level without meeting the traditional level 3 entry requirements.

How You'll Learn

Teaching methods include lectures, tutorials, online material, student-centred workshops, games, posters, case studies, and learning exercises. Students will also have the opportunity to gain work experience on a year-long placement with an external organisation or study for a year in one of the university's partner institutions in North America.


How You'll Be Assessed

Assessment methods include written examinations, coursework assessments such as essays, reports, portfolios, performance, presentations, and a final year major project. The standard pass mark for a module is 40%.
