Teaching and assessment

  • Animation at Worcester encompasses 2D traditional and digital animation, stop motion and claymation and 3D CGI for games, animation and film.
  • Students also gain skills in editing, sound, compositing, concept art for games and animation, VFX techniques and creative concept generation.
  • The course thus aims to offer you the realistic prospect of graduating as a competent practitioner in all areas of this still developing discipline.
  • Alongside placing strong emphasis on nurturing your practice as an animator, it supports you to gain solid, foundational understanding of relevant history and theory.
  • It integrates live projects into year-long modules of study to enable you to experience real, studio-based production in support of your preparation for professional work.
