Program Overview


As a student in the Bachelor of Science in Informatics (BSI) program, you will acquire a robust theoretical foundation in core IT fields and extensive practical learning in a range of industry-standard and emerging technologies. You'll also develop the project management, critical thinking and communication skills that are part of the portfolio of qualifications of today’s well-rounded, versatile IT professional.

Program Outline

The BSI combines a robust foundation in the core areas of Informatics with the option to specialize in high-demand fields of Information Technology. The following majors are available:

  • BSI in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • BSI in Networks and Cybersecurity
  • BSI in Application and Game Development
  • BSI in UX (User Experience) Design

In addition, the BSI can be pursued without a major field of specialization.

You’ll also be prepared to continue your studies at the graduate level.

Program Structure

You will need to complete a total of 40 courses plus a Capstone Project (121 credits) to earn a Bachelor of Science in Informatics degree. Full-time students may complete the program in 8 semesters, while part-time students will need between 5 to 8 years to complete their degree, depending on the number of courses taken each semester.
