Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • Hold a secondary school diploma (Apolytirion) obtained after at least 12 years of general education as verified by Greece's Ministry of Education or equivalent to a US High School Diploma.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 9.25 out of 20.
  • Completion of the mandatory Panhellenic examinations (exams must be within the validity period).
  • Submit a personal statement in English, outlining reasons for desiring this program
  • Pass an interview
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from teachers from High School

International Overseas Students:

  • Complete secondary education at a nationally recognized institution.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent.
  • Submit SAT or ACT scores (optional).
  • Submit a translated secondary school transcript.
  • Submit a 500-word essay in English
  • Participate in an interview conducted online or at a Hellenic American University partner institution
  • Achieve a score of 6.0 in the IELTS exam.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • All applicants from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate proficiency in English.
