Beauty Science
Beauty Science is a knowledge of beauty care techniques, which enables to conduct beauty treatments and chose suitable cosmetics. The main aim of our BSc Beauty Science programme is to educate highly qualified specialists endowed with broad theoretical and practical knowledge and prepared for the professional career in one of the fastest-growing market segments.
The classes are taught in professionally equipped labs, by experienced and highly qualified teaching staff employed in the best academic centres and by professionals working in various businesses. Our courses involve not only traditional subjects, but also unique classes, such as thalassotherapy, and a wide range of optional classes, which provides opportunities for self-directed, autonomous learning. The 3-year full – time BSc programme includes a lot of practical training, which starts in the first year of the studies.

Placement details
Practical trainings play an important role in preparing students to meet the requirements of the job market. That is why, students have the opportunity to gain experience during 360 hours of practical training, integrated in the course programme. The University has signed contracts with the biggest regional institutions specializing in modern beauty treatments, including beauty salons. There is also an opportunity to do practical training in one of the following countries: Turkey, Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Cyprus.
Career opportunities
The graduates of Beauty Science have sufficient qualifications for working in beauty salons, fitness centres, laboratories, cosmetic departments of pharmacies, companies specializing in production and distribution of cosmetics for SPA, cosmetic branch and medical cosmetology. The graduates are also prepared for setting up their own business, since they have the opportunity to participate in numerous professional trainings and cosmetic demonstrations (in make-up, nail styling, massage) run by the professionals from the renowned cosmetic companies.

General entry requirements
International students applying to our University have to submit documents confirming their graduation from a secondary school or a university. Certificates and diplomas issued abroad must be officially legalized and recognized in Poland.
Language requirements
International students must submit a document confirming their knowledge of English, or are required to attend an English language course. This requirement does not apply to students for whom English is a native language or was a language of instruction at school.
International students should demonstrate that they meet one of the following minimum language requirements:
- TOEFL test with a score of at least 550
- IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0 for Bachelor and Master studies
- FCE test with grade B
