Program Overview
Why take this course?
Details on the programme for September will be announced here. Check back regularly for updates.
This Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics is a conversion course for those who already have a Level 8 honours degree, but not in a technical/scientific
umerate area. It is ideal for those who find their job has taken them towards analytics, perhaps in a haphazard manner and want to formalise their knowledge with a recognised qualification.
The programme covers the key areas of Data Analytics - programming (using Python), SQL, R, maths (statistics), case studies and project work.
What will I experience?
The programme will equip graduates with the skills and aptitudes necessary to excel in the emerging field of Data Analytics. This programme will ensure that you will be able to understand the data context, apply appropriate techniques and utilise the most relevant tools to generate insights into such data.
The programme is build to offer the student maximum flexibility in terms of learning and collaboration opportunities, using platform-independent technologies to ensure that you can fit your learning around your busy life. In addition, there will be a number of Saturday workshops where you can meet your lecturer face-to-face, in addition to your fellow students, and experience the social aspect learning.
