• Double major: Students can combine the English major with another discipline like psychology, sociology, religious studies, political science, pre-law or STEM.
• Internships: English majors have profited from internships at KCET, the Food Network, magazines, newspapers, publishing houses and TV production companies.
• Literary magazine: Students can help, edit and write for the English Department’s literary magazine Audemus.
• Online newspaper: Students can work with Journalism and New Media majors on the online University newspaper, The Athenian Print.
• Study abroad: Students can study abroad for a semester and take literature courses in England.
