Entry Requirements

EU and Non-EU Applicants:

• Mature Applicants:
• Mature applicants are individuals over 23 years of age who do not meet the minimum entry requirements for school leavers.
• Such applicants should apply directly to the Admissions Office at DBS for an assessment based on age, work experience, general education standard, and motivation for the programme.
• Transfer Students:
• Students applying to transfer to the second or later stage of a cognate program will be accepted based on available places and fulfillment of the program's learning outcomes.

International Students (Non-EU):

In addition to the Minimum Entry Requirements above, International Students must also meet the following criteria:

• English Language Proficiency:
• International students whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency through one of the following tests:
• IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall score of 6.0 and no individual band score lower than 5.5.
• TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum overall score of 80 and no individual band score lower than 17.
• PTE Academic with a minimum overall score of 65 and no individual band score lower than 51.
• Documentation:
• International students are required to submit a copy of their passport and visa (if applicable).

Mature Applicant Entry Route:

Mature Applicants must provide the following documentation to the Admissions Office for an individual assessment:

• A completed application form.
• A detailed curriculum vitae (CV) highlighting relevant work experience and skills.
• Certified copies of any academic qualifications they have achieved.
• Any other relevant documentation that demonstrates their suitability for the program.

Note:

• Entry to Year 3 and Year 4 of the program is not available for transfer students.
• Entry to Year 4 specifically requires significant appropriate work experience evidenced by a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating achievement of Year 3 learning outcomes and evidence of having achieved the learning outcomes of Year 1 and 2.
