• Analysis of sustainability issues: This includes both social and environmental issues, with a focus on real-life problems like reducing energy sources and influencing supplier behavior.

• Implementation and change management: Students learn how to build readiness for change within organizations and implement change successfully.

The program is structured around two semesters, with a variety of core modules covering interdisciplinary topics from business and environmental studies.

Semester 1:

• Strategies for a Sustainable Future: This module explores the challenges and opportunities that societal and environmental issues create for organizations, focusing on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It examines key problems and develops innovative solutions to lead organizations towards sustainable change.

Semester 2:

• Leadership and Change Management in a Complex World: This module focuses on the internal and external aspects of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and ethics.
It examines organizational and management behaviors, health, safety, and well-being, ethical and responsible leadership, and the management of diversity and inclusion. It emphasizes sustainable supply chains, green logistics, and procurement.
• Sustainability in Practice: This experiential and application-oriented module supports students in developing knowledge and key competencies to investigate and report on issues in current sustainability management and practice.
It offers two routes: a sound academic research project or a work-based and consultancy-type project supported by critical understanding of research techniques. It also covers the strategic importance, place, and role of sustainability reporting.
• CSR and Sustainability in Context: This module explores business and sustainability in a contrasting economy, providing the opportunity to study in a different country.

Assessment:

The program uses a variety of assessment methods to evaluate students' capacity to develop a problem-solving approach and communicate possible solutions and innovations. These methods include:

• Presentations: Students present solutions to real case studies in groups, alone, and under short time limits.
• Essays: Students write essays to demonstrate their understanding of key concepts and their ability to analyze and synthesize information.
• Practical projects: Students engage in practical projects, such as the "Trash Hack" project, where they are tasked with coming up with a sustainable way to reuse an industrial waste item.

Teaching:

The program uses a variety of teaching methods to bring study to life and incorporate real-world experience. These methods include:

• Lectures: Lectures provide students with a foundation in key concepts and theories.
• Seminars: Seminars provide students with the opportunity to discuss and debate key issues with their peers and faculty.
