Program Overview
Arabic Advanced
Overview
The Arabic Advanced course is designed for individuals with a solid knowledge of the Arabic language and its grammar, who can communicate confidently and fluently in most situations. The course is divided into three parts, each building on the previous one, and covers various topics and grammar.
Who is this class for?
This course is suitable for individuals who have studied Arabic for around 300 hours or more and want to improve their language skills for professional or personal reasons.
Course Structure
The course consists of three parts:
- Part One: For those who have studied Arabic for around one year or 300 hours.
- Part Two: For those who have completed Part One or have studied Arabic for about 320 hours.
- Part Three: For those who have completed Parts One and Two or have studied Arabic for about 340 hours.
Teaching
Our Arabic lessons follow a communicative approach to language teaching, focusing on the language you need to communicate in authentic situations with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Our evening classes are taught by experienced language teachers who are native speakers of the language or equivalent.
Learning Resources
We will use Lughatuna al-Fusha: Book 2 for Part One and Two of the course, and Lughatuna al-Fusha: Book 3 for Part Three. However, please wait until the first session before buying your course books.
