Course structure
- The course consists of a series of classroom lectures and group exercises.
- The lectures introduce the method's terminology, then we will discuss case studies to explain how to use the method in practice.
- We will provide supplementary learning material via the University's online learning platform.
- At the end of each day we will use multiple choice questions to remind us of the day's learning and to prepare us for the certificate exam.
Exam format
- Objective testing
- 50% (33 marks out of 65) required to pass
- 2 hours and 15 minutes' duration
- The exam is a PeopleCert Online Proctored Exam.

It includes valuable fictional case studies that illustrate how the guidance works in practice and can be tailored and applied across different sectors and organizations, irrespective of their operating model.
Outline:
The course consists of a series of classroom lectures and group exercises. The lectures introduce the method’s terminology, then case studies are discussed to explain how to use the method in practice. Supplementary learning material is provided via the University’s online learning platform. At the end of each day, multiple-choice questions are used to review the day’s learning and prepare for the certificate exam. The Practitioner course follows on from the Foundation course, where the method, its philosophy, and terminology are introduced. It focuses on the more intricate aspects of the method, putting it into practice through applying a series of challenging questions to a case study. The formal test follows exactly the same approach. The purpose of the Practitioner level is to confirm that you have achieved sufficient understanding to apply and adapt MoR® in a real-world scenario.
Assessment:
The exam has the following format:
- Objective testing
- Four questions per paper, 20 marks available per question
- 50% (40 marks out of 80) required to pass
- 3 hours' duration
