Proficient Deer Stalker Certificate Level 1 (PDS1)

A nationally recognised deer stalking qualification accredited by the UK’s two leading, land-based awarding bodies, LANTRA and UK Rural Skills.


Overview

Delivering a unique level of practical and theory-based training, the PDS1 is perfect for beginners and those wanting to develop their skills and become trained hunters. It is also recognised as a significant first step in obtaining a Firearm Certificate, or variation to an existing certificate, to shoot deer.

Delivery of the online course is by Peter S Jones, an Approved LANTRA and UK Rural Skills trainer, trusted expert and well known face in the industry. With over 30 years’ experience hunting deer and large game in the UK, Europe and Africa and, as a former Metropolitan Police Detective, with extensive experience of firearms and firearms legislation, Peter is uniquely placed to deliver this leading, nationally recognised deer stalking course.
