BSc Multimedia, Mobile & Web Development (Arts) (MWA)

is a four-year program offered by the Department of Computer Science at Maynooth University. The program focuses on the principles and uses of computers and software for mobile apps and websites, including key areas in mathematics, a major project, and a six-month placement in industry. This program provides students with a wide frame of reference by allowing them to study another Arts subject with Computer Science in the first year.

Objectives:

Outline:

First Year:

• Students study 30 credits of Computer Science.
• Students also study one other MH101 Arts subject chosen from specific groups based on their interests.

Second, Third, and Fourth Years:

• Students focus solely on Computer Science and Multimedia topics.
• In the third year, students complete a six-month industry placement (subject to availability).
• Students choose from various modules covering:
