Program Overview

The Higher Diploma in Social Policy (HDipSP) is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time program designed for graduates of any discipline who wish to acquire honors degree-level knowledge and credentials in social policy. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills to understand the complex issues and challenges faced by individuals, families, and communities in contemporary Irish society. Graduates of the HDipSP will have acquired a strong understanding of social policy and the skills necessary to analyze social problems and develop effective solutions, making them well-placed for a variety of careers in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.
