Program Overview

The MSocSc in Community and Youth Work at Maynooth University combines advanced study with professional education for roles in community development and youth work. Delivered through a unique "block and blend" mode, it allows practitioners to balance work and study while earning a professional qualification. The program includes a professional fieldwork placement, online learning resources, block teaching, and weekly evening online sessions. Graduates are prepared for a variety of positions in youth projects, community-based work, and statutory and voluntary organizations.
