Program Overview

The Postgraduate Diploma in German for Teaching at Post-Primary Level is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time program designed for individuals with a PME or equivalent who intend to pursue a career as a German teacher in post-primary schools. The program provides intensive studies in German language skills, literary, cultural, and film studies, and German linguistics and language pedagogy, preparing graduates to meet the requirements for registration as an accredited German teacher by the Teaching Council of Ireland.
