Entry Requirements

  • 96 UCAS Tariff points. We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, OCR, Access to HE and most other qualifications within the UCAS Tariff. Preferably to include an Art, Design or Media subject at A level or equivalent level.
  • 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.

Careers:

By completing our BA (Hons) Digital Media Production course you'll be prepared for roles including digital media design, web design, social media analysis, content writing, videography, motion graphic art and interactive design. But you’ll also be ready for near-future careers such as digital culture commentator or designer. You might even invent your own new role in this exciting cultural landscape. Students graduating in 2022 have gone on to roles including Multimedia Designer at CEG Cambridge Education Group, Social Media Account Manager at The Ivy Rose Agency, and Social Media Officer at ARU. Our links with major companies in Cambridge and beyond – such as Orbital Media, Sookio Digital Agency, Brand-anonymous, Cambridge Museum of Technology, Essex Police, Collusion Arts and collaborations with Avans University in Holland – allow you to engage with live briefs and competitions, enhance your portfolio and get experience of working life. We also work closely with local arts organisations and practitioners, including Collusion Arts Organisation and future storytelling research group StoryLab. This will give you opportunities to engage with Interactive Arts practitioners. Both Collusion and StoryLab contribute and support projects throughout the course. What’s more, our employability advisers run workshops, seminars, networking events, portfolio reviews and design challenges. They'll also help you find placements and work experience, so that you can graduate with the creative skills and confidence to succeed.

Entry Requirements:

Main 96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent level 3 qualifications), including Art, Design or Media subjects. 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English, at least one Design Subject or Media Subject is preferred. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. You may also be accepted to this course with an IELTS 5.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 5.5) or equivalent English Language qualification as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University, but will then be required to undertake additional compulsory free English language modules in your first year. Alternatives UCAS Tariff points acquired from BTEC Level 3 Diplomas are accepted, related subjects are required. UCAS Tariff points from Access to HE Diplomas are accepted. International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 24 points is accepted.This must include an Art/Design subject at Higher level. UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Advanced Highers are accepted, related subjects are required. UCAS Tariff points from Scottish Highers are accepted, related subjects are required.
